I guess the hardest concept to grasp about fractions so far is to visualize. For example, in the question, how many 1/3s are there in 3/4, I understand that we can get the answer by dividing 1/3 from 3/4 however I cannot visualize how many 1/3s make up 3/4. :( I guess I would need to use concrete materials and pictorials to help me visualize...
One of the things that I have learnt from the evening's session was that when using non-standard measurement, the measurement is merely an estimation and thus we should not say for example, the table is 10 pencils long but we should use the word "about".
